Glenties Notes 17th October 2012

Sympathy:
Sincere sympathy is extended to Teresa Melly and family, Church Road, Glenties, on the death of Teresa’s brother, Paddy Given, Ardara, which took place on Thursday 4th October 2012.

Sincere sympathy is extended to his wife, Anne, family, relatives and friends of Eddie Bonner, Ardconnell, Glenties, who died suddenly early on Thursday morning 11th October.

Bingo:
The winners at the Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties on Tuesday 9th October were – Nora Gallagher and Bridie Doherty shared the Jackpot – each getting € 150; Emma Sweeney, Ardara, Barbara Quigley, Dunkineely, Kitty Mc Glynn, Fintown, Bernadette Gallagher, Frosses, May Kennedy, Angela Lowther, Josie Martin, Mary Mc Dermott, Mary Bonner and Mary Furey won € 100 each; Cathie Connell, Portnoo, Nora Mc Hugh, Nora Gallagher, Teresa Molloy, Fintown, John Boyle, Margaret Gillespie, Elizabeth Buckley, Margo Gallagher, Leticia Doherty, Sadie Sweeney and Eileen Gallagher won € 50 each; Carmel Fitzgerald won € 40.

Special Needs Assistant:
