Charity Walk in aid of Donegal Hospice
A Walk in aid of Donegal Hospice will take place on Saturday 25th June. It will leave the Highlands Hotel at 10.45 a.m. taking in Doobin, Meenahalla, and Glen Road and back to the Highlands Hotel for light refreshments. Everyone is welcome. For more details contact Joe on 087 6766087.

Bingo
The winners at the Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties on Tuesday 14th June were – Bernie Fitzpatrick won the Jackpot of € 400. Mamie Mc Geehan, Sally Mc Hugh, Sarah Mc Glynn, Breegín Keeney, Lettie Doherty, Liz Buckley, Annie Mc Ginley, Breege Gallagher, Rosbeg and Annie Mc Ginley won € 100 each. Lisa Coughlan, Bernadette Mc Glynn, Rose Mc Fadden, Liz Buckley, Teresa Molloy, Liz Buckley, Majella Boyle, Dim Melly, Kathleen Mc Cabe, Binbane, Michael Langan and Packie Sweeney, Rosbeg won € 50 each. Abbie Bonner won € 30.

“Cash for Clobber”
Scoil Mhuire will be having their final “Cash for Clobber” collection for this school term here in the school on Friday 24th June. They are collecting – unwanted clothing for adults and children; paired shoes, hats and scarves, handbags and belts, curtains and linens. For each bag the school collects they will receive € 4. Scoil Mhuire would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support throughout the year.

Thanks
The Playground Committee would like to thank everyone who contributed to their recent Church Gate Collection. The amount collected was € 714.

Universal Song
An evening of Uplifting Music and Song will take place in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties on Sunday 26th June at 7 p.m. The programme will present songs and music to uplift the soul, performed by, Parish of Glenties Youth Choir, Scoil Chonaill Bunbeg Choir, Scoil Mhuire, Glenties, St. Conal’s, Kilclooney Choir and St. Bridget’s Choir, Lettermacaward. The concert will also feature performances by various Soloists, and promises to be a fantastic evening. Admission is by donation and all money raised will go to Letterkenny General Hospital’s Ophthalmic Department to help fund an OCT Scanner. This is a type of scanner which helps diagnose early eye disease in people with diabetes, age related macular degeneration, and in glaucoma, and could prevent sight loss. It is a most worthy cause and we ask that you all come along and show your support. You are promised some top class entertainment.

Care of the Aged Collection
The Annual Care of the Aged Collection will be taken up next weekend, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June.

Mobile Heart Screening Service
Naomh Conaill are organising a Mobile Heart Screening Service on 9th July at the Club grounds. This Screening Service will be run by ‘Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives’- who provide cardiac screening to help prevent sudden deaths in young people who may have Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. Target Age Group: 14yrs – 35yrs (Places Limited). Cost is €45.00/ea (payable at time of booking).
