Harvest Fair TV Now Live!

The cameras are in place the Harvest Fair is about to start and Harvest Fair TV is now Live.

With special thanks to Swift Security for supplying and installing the cameras on the street we now have better than ever coverage of the Harvest Fair Festival.

All the cameras can be viewed on one page http://www.glenties.ie/glenties-tv/ All the cameras may not always  be broadcasting but there should be at least one camera broadcasting at a time. Each event will be recorded and can be viewed again at a later date on the ustream page.

Some of the events that we hope to be showing live are:

Thursday 9th
8pm – Official Opening with Special Guest – Donegal senior football manager Jim Mc Guinness.
Music To Follow after with – “Shaun Mc Monagle”
Saturday 11th
5:30pm – Ceili Dancing on Main Street. Music by Tory Sound

7pm – Annual Harvest Fair 10K Road Race in aid of Donegal Mountain Rescue. €10 entry fee. For more info contact Brendan on 086 3530537

8pm – Live Music by De-Railed on Main Street
Sunday 12th
2:30pm – Iron Stomach Competition. An event in which people dare to eat the uneatable

3pm – Live Music by Rambling Fever on Main Street

4pm – Float and Band Parade. Cash Prizes for best float, Kids Fancy Dress, Individual Fancy Dress. For more information contact 086 8656312

6pm – Live Music by Knights of Leon on Main Street. Kings of Leon tribute band.

Monday 13th
10am – Busking in Aid of the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland Donegal Branch
