Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 7th September 2016

There was no winner of this week Gaa Lotto; the numbers drawn out were 4-15-19-27 and the 2x€50 went to Francie Mc Devitt, Fintown and Margaret Murray, Burtonport.  Next week’s Jackpot will be €8,100.

Congratulations to our Senior and Reserve teams on making it three out of three wins in the Michael Murphy Sports Championship group D last Saturday with a great victory over Gweedore winning reserve 2-13 to 0-13 and Senior 2-18 to 0-11. Our seniors go on to play St Eunans in the quarter final and our reserves play Kilcar. Good luck to both managers and teams.

Good Luck to our 3rd team who face St Eunans this Saturday at 1pm in the Michael Murphy senior C championship semi-final. Venue to be confirmed later.

On Thursday 8th September asking all members not to miss out on watching 20 locals take on 3 time world darts champion John Part in Leos Bar Glenties. Great nights fun and all proceeds go towards Naomh Conaill Gaa club.

Friday 9th September Naomh Conaill will host a 7aside tournament for over 35s in memory of the late Matthew Mannering in Davy Brennan Park Glenties starting at 6:30pm. This tournament is a fitting tribute to a young man taken away from us in his prime. This tournament includes former teammates and former opponents from neighbouring clubs revive their playing days.

Fixtures Saturday 10th September 3rd team semi-final Naomh Conaill v St Eunans at 1pm, Sat 10th senior and reserve division 1 league Termon v Naomh Conaill at 5pm and 6:30pm in Termon.
