Naomh Conaill Club Notes 12th February 2012

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 1,11,28 and 29. Two prizes of €50 went to John Boyle Knockletragh and Will MacInnes Kilraine. Next weeks jackpot is €5,300.

Hard luck to our U21s who were beaten by Ballinderry 1-07 to 1-10 in the Ulster Club Championship quarter final on Sunday.

The clubs 200+ club is starting shortly. The cost is €10 per month or €100 for the year. Anyone wishing to join can contact any club officer.

There will be a one day refresher occupational first aid course in the clubhouse on Saturday 23rd February from 9.30-4.30pm. The cost is €35. Anyone interested in doing the course is asked to contact Rosaleen Doherty 087 6235023 ASAP.

Membership for Naomh Conaill 2013 is now due. Adult €40, youth €20(for families with a number of children its €20 each for the first two children and €10 for each additional child). There is also €100 membership which includes membership and entry into the weekly lotto. A registration/membership night will take place this Friday 15th February in the clubhouse between 5.30and 6.30pm. On Tuesday 19th February in Aras Sheain Bhain Fintown between 8 and 9pm.

This Saturday Las Vegas comes to the Highlands Hotel Glenties, come along for a night on the Vegas strip. Tickets €20 which includes buffet, live music, champagne reception, disco and complimentary money for the casino. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets available from club members or pay at the door.

Naomh Coanill Club Notes 7th February 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 1,7,26 and 27. Two prizes of €50 went to Mairead,Killybegs and Michael Gallagher Kilraine. Next weeks jackpot is €5,200.

Good luck to the U21 team who play Ballinderry(Co Derry) in the Ulster Club Championship quarter final this Sunday @ 2.15pm in Kickhams Creggan.

The U21’s will play Ballinderry(Co Derry) in the Ulster Club Championship quarter final which is being hosted by Creggan Kickhams Co Antrim on Sunday 10th February at 2.15.

The club is seeking applications for senior, reserve and third team manager. Anyone interested can apply to club secretary Vincent Cranley before Friday 1st February.

The clubs Last Man Standing starts this Saturday 2nd February. Entry forms are available in local businesses or from Martin Doherty or Martin Regan.€10 to enter.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes January 16th 2013

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 4,9,24 and 30. Two prizes of €50 went to Bridie Doherty Mill Road Glenties and Mary Mc Mahon Fintown. Next weeks jackpot is €4,900.

The U21 team will play the winners of Ballinderry (Co Derry) or St Patricks Donagh (Co Fermanagh) in the U21 Ulster Club Championship quarter final on Sunday 10th February at 2.15pm.

There will be a basic coaching course in St Nauls Clubhouse on the 18th January 7-10.30pm and 19th January 9.30am-4.30pm. It is important that anyone involved with any team this year that they have this course done. There will also be a level 1 coaching course in Donegal Town on 15th/16th February and 22nd/23rd February. Anyone interested in doing any of these courses can contact Martin Regan on 086 1020471 for more information.

From 1st January it was made compulsory to use a mouthguard in all gaelic football matches and training sessions for all underage teams up to and including minor. Mouthguards are available from a number of different outlets. For further information see the Southern Regional GAA Board on the Donegal GAA Website.

The clubs reconvened AGM was held last Sunday. Thanks to all who attended. The following are the club officers that were elected for 2013. PRO Eunan Mc Glinchey and Muriel Hegarty,Registar Muriel Hegarty, Childrens Officer David Kelch, Players representative Brendan Mc Dyre,Coaching officer Martin Regan. The following were appointed underage managers for the coming year. U8 Pat Ward,U10 to be appointed, U12 Martin Shankey Smith, U13 Hughie Mc Gill, U14 Martin Regan, U16 Seosamh Mc Kelvey and U18 Leo Mc Loone.
