Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 3rd July 2018

There was no winner of this week Gaa Lotto the numbers drawn out were 01-99-21-22 and the 2x€50 went to Aileen O Donnell, Mill rd & Stella Green, Glen rd . Next week’s Jackpot will be €9,300.

The last club 200 draw will take place at Bingo on the 3rd July. If anyone would like to stay in the draw for another year are asked to contact there sales person asap.

Naomh Conaill GAA Club Notes 3rd August 2012

The club would like to wish Anthony, Leo, Dermot, Marty, Jim, Joe and all the Donegal team the best of luck for this weekends All Ireland quarter final against Kerry in Croke Park on Sunday.

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2,3,8 and 24. Two prizes of €50 went to Rosaleen Gallagher Ardara and Michael O’Donnell Mullantyboyle. Next weeks jackpot is €2,500.

Well done to the U-10A team that won the blitz in Dungloe last Saturday beating Naomh Mhuire and Dungloe.

The U-12A team won the All County blitz last Saturday in Ballybofey where they overcame Killybegs in the final. The B team were beaten in their final. Well done to all the players and management team.

Hard luck to the U-14 team who were beaten in the Division One League County final by St Eunans. Naomh Conaill 0-03 1-20 St Eunans.

The club held a very successful Cul Camp last week. Thanks to everyone who helped out. 81 children attended the camp and enjoyed a visit from The Anglo Celt cup on Friday. Photos of the camp can be viewed on the clubs website.

The club will hold a camp for boys and girls age 6 to 12 years from Tuesday 21st August to Friday 24th August. The camp will run from 10am to 2pm everyday and costs €25 per child or €40 per family. Well done to the third team who won the championship play-off against NaomhPadraig Muff 1-07 to 3-10.

There will be an Ardara v Naomh Conaill over 40’s challenge match on Monday next 6th August in Kentucky at 5.30pm in aid of Down Syndrome as part of the Ardara GAA Family Day. Everyone Welcome.

Tickets for the All Ireland Quarter final will be given out in the clubhouse on Friday night between 7.00 & 8.30pm

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 19th July 2012

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 7,18,22 & 24. Two prizes of €50 went to Carmel Doherty Meenalaragan and Kieran Kennedy Station Road. Next weeks jackpot is €2,300.

Good luck to the U-14 Naomh Conaill Boys team, their manager and mentors who are due to play St Eunans in the League Division One County Final next Wednesday 25th July. No details were available at time of going to print so see clubs website for match details.

The thirds made the long trip to Muff last Saturday to play Naomh Padraig in the championship. Unfortunately the result didn’t go their way. Naomh Padraig 1-13 1-07 Naomh Conaill. So this means that we have to meet again as Naomh Conaill won the first leg.

Both the seniors and reserves were in league action on Sunday against Kilcar in Glenties. The reserves were beaten by Kilcar Naomh Conaill 0-11 2-11 Kilcar. The senior team recorded a victory after a great second half display of football to win Naomh Conaill 1-10 1-03 Kilcar.The senior team play Four Masters this Thursday 19th in the quarter final of the Patsy Brogan Memorial Tournament in Donegal Town at 8.15pm.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 7th July 2012

Congratulations to the U-14 team, their manager and mentors on winning the Division One League Regional Final against Four Masters on Monday night. Naomh Conaill 4-12 3-08 Four Masters. They are now through to the County Semi Final (no details at time of going to print ) see clubs website for details. In the championship the U-14’s had a fine victory over Naomh Mhuire in round 1. Naomh Mhuire 1-07 4-15 Naomh Conaill. This Friday 6th July they are home to Ardara at 7.30pm in round 2.

The minors had a victory over neighbours Ardara in the league last week. Ardara 3-06 3-11 Naomh Conaill. They are due to play Dungloe this week (see clubs website for details).

The thirds had another good won over Ardara on Friday night. Ardara 0-09 0-15 Naomh Conaill.

Both the seniors and reserves recorded away victories at the weekend over Dungloe. The reserves put in a great display to bet Dungloe 2-05 to 1-10. The senior team got bacK to winning ways with a great display of football to bet Dungloe 0-05 to 1-13. Due to the County teams success the Club championships which was due to be played this weekend is now off. There will be a full round of league fixtues. See clubs website for details

Well done to the Donegal senior football team who are through to the Ulster final on July 22nd. Ticket details have not been circulated to clubs yet but anyone looking for a ticket is asked to give their names to any club officer.

Naomh Conaill Club Notes 26th June 2012

The lotto numbers for last week were 4,13,17 & 27. Congratulations to Laoise Ward who matched all four numbers to win the jackpot €3,300. Next weeks jackpot is €2,000.

Naomh Conaill will be hosts to this weeks U-10 Go Games Blitz on Saturday 30th June at 12 noon. The visiting teams will be Naomh Columba, Kilcar and Naomh Mhuire.

The U-14 Division One League Regional Final between Naomh Conaill v Four Masters has been fixed for Monday 2nd July at 7.30pm. No venue has yet been selected so check clubs website for details.

The thirds had a great victory over Naomh Columba last Friday. Naomh Conaill 4-13 1-04 Naomh Columba. The thirds are away to Ardara this Friday 29th June at 8.00pm.

The reserves had a fine victory over Glenswilly at the weekend. Glenswilly 2-06 3-12 Naomh Conaill. The seniors were beaten by Glenswilly. Glenswilly 2-07 1-07 Naomh Conaill. This Sunday 1st July both the reserves and seniors are away to Dungloe in the league. The reserve game is at 1.30pm followed by the senior game at 3.00pm.

Good luck to the Donegal senior team especially the Naomh Conaill lads when they take on Tyrone in the Ulster Football semi final this Saturday in Clones.

Naomh Conaill Notes 12th July 2011

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2,3,6,9. The jackpot now stands at 7,400 Euro. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Ciara Shovlin, Loughfad and Carol Sweeney, Rosbeg.

The U14s drew with Dungloe last Wednesday in Dungloe 1-8 to 0-11. They are at home to Na Rossa next Mon 18th and home to Four Masters on Wednesday 20th July. Good luck to U14 player Eoghan Mc Gettigan who plays at half time in the Ulster final in Clones this Sunday.

The U16s beat St Nauls 2-6 to 1-7 in Mountcharles last Monday in the championship and they now play them again in the 2nd leg this Friday at home at 7.30pm.

The club are hosting the Vhi Cul Camp from the 25th-29th of July. Application forms are availble in Mc Glincheys and for more information contact Dara Gallagher

The seniors were very unlucky to lose 1-10 to 0-12 at home to St Eunans in the league last Saturday evening.

Naomh Conaill Notes 5th June 2011

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 17,18,22,27. Two prizes of 50 Euro went to Frank Mc Swiggan, Gortnasillagh and Brid Gallagher, Narin Road. This weeks jackpot is 7,300 Euro.

The club are organising a Mobile Heart Screening Service on Sat 9th July at the club grounds. This screening service will be run by Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives who provide cardiac screening to help prevent sudden deaths in young people who may have Sudden Adult Death Syndrome. The target age group is 14yrs-35yrs. The places are limited and the cost is 45 Euro per person payable at time of booking. The reserves advanced to the next round of the championship after beating Glenswilly 0-8 to 0-4 last Sunday. The seniors made their exit from the championship going down 2-6 to 1-10 against Glenswilly.
