Glenties Notes 21st July 2011

Bingo
The winners at the Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties on Tuesday 12th July were – Josie Gallagher won the Jackpot of € 400. Michael Doherty, Gracie O’ Hara, Mary Furey, Anne Kennedy, Emer O’ Donnell, Mary Doherty, Margaret Ryan, Frosses and Sheila Kenny won € 100 each. Hazel Staunton won € 150. Eileen Gallagher, Bernadette Mc Devitt, Rose Cunningham, Fiona Gallagher, Mary Furey, Annie Deane, Kilcar, Patsy Martin, Nellie Doherty, Jean Boyle, Mary Kennedy and Denise Campbell won € 50 each.

Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to Francis Houston, The Co-op, and Breidin Keeney, Drimnacrosh, Glenties on the death in Letterkenny Hospital early on Saturday 16th July 2011 of their brother, Sean Houston, Dunwilley, Stranorlar, (formerly Glenties); also to his wife Maureen and family, his other sisters, Mary, Kathleen, Josephine and Rosaleen, to his aunts, Gracie Gildea, Mary Mc Hugh and Teresa Mc Mullin, Ardconnell, his uncle Tommy Mc Mullin, USA, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Sincere sympathy is extended to Neilie Bonner and family, Dry Arch, Straboy, Glenties on the death of Neilie’s sister Peggy Mc Hugh, Summy, Portnoo (formerly Straboy) who died in the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny on Friday 15th July 2011; also to her husband, John, mother Maggie, sisters, Mary B. and Nan, brother, John, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Sincere sympathy is extended to Bridget Kee and family, Mullantyboyle, Glenties on the death of Bridget’s father, James Toner, Churchill, which took place on Saturday 16th July 2011.
