Glenties Community Playgroup Limited:
Applications are invited for the post of Relief Worker / Relief Panel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum qualification of full FETAC Level 5 in Childcare, preferably FETAC Level 6 or equivalent. Sound knowledge of Early Years Curriculum Framework (Aistear) and the National Quality Framework Soilta. Experience of working in a childcare setting would be an advantage. Closing date for applications is Monday 25th August. Snooker: Snooker room is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Part time Cleaner:
A Part time Cleaner is required for St. Riaghan’s N. S., Drimnacrosh, Glenties. Written application should be sent to Chairperson on or before August 26th.

Open Days at Doon Fort:
As part of History & Cultural Activities for National Heritage Week a Boat Trip and Guided Tour will take place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August from 11 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. at Loughadoon & O’Boyle (Doon) Fort with Paula Harvey (Archaeologist). Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Joe Mc Hugh, will perform the opening ceremony at around 1.00 p.m. on Saturday. The ferry fee is €10 for adults and € 5 for children. Booking is essential.
