‘Footloose’ The Musical
If you saw ‘Grease’ last year you won’t want to miss ‘Footloose’. Glenties Theatre Workshop presents ‘Footloose’ in Glenties Community Centre, Glenties on Friday 2nd September at 8 p.m. Saturday 3rd at 3 p.m. Sunday 4th at 8 p.m. Friday 9th at 7 p.m. and Saturday 10th September at 8 p.m. Admission is €12 for adults and € 8 for children. Tickets are available at the following outlets – Glenties – Mc Glinchey’s Mace, Kee’s Butchers and The Craft Shop and at Diver’s Newsagents in Ardara. Come along and enjoy a fun night. Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Maggie Glynn, Ard Patrick, Glenties, who died in Killybegs Hospital, last Friday 19th August.

The winners at the Bingo in the Community Centre, Glenties on Tuesday 16th August were – Sean Carr won the Jackpot of € 400. Anne Quinn, Peter Sweeney, Dim Melly, Nan Doherty, Ann Marie Cunningham, Rose Cunningham, Paddy Mc Gill, Eimear Doherty and Sadie Sweeney won € 100 each.
