Glenties Notes 11th October 2013

League County Champions:
Congratulations to our U / 16 team who defeated St. Eunan’s on Sunday last 6th October 2013 in the Division 1 League County Final in Glenfin. Well done lads!

Glenties Afterschool:
Glenties Afterschool is now taking names for those interested in an Arts and Crafts Session. This will take place every Thursday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Children will be picked up from Scoil Mhuire and provided with a healthy snack on arrival. Collections:
The collection for the Irish Heart Foundation, taken up recently in Edeninfagh amounted to € 85. Thanks to all who subscribed.

The Dyslexia Collection taken up on the weekend of 25th August amounted to € 656.00 Thanks to everyone who made a donation.

Céilí, Sets and Two-Hand Dance Classes:
Céilí Sets and Two – Hand Dance Classes commenced in the Highlands Hotel, Glenties on Wednesday 9th October from 8 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. Tuition by Connie & Anne.

Glenties Community Centre:
Bingo in the Glenties Community Centre every Tuesday night at 9pm. Every line € 50, every house € 100. Jackpot will be € 8500 on the 15/10/2013, if not won on the night €300 will be paid out. In house draws.

Bowls in the Centre every Monday night at 8 p.m.

Tia Chi in the Community Centre every Wednesday night at 8 p.m,

Academy Drama classes by Helen O’Grady for children are on every Thursday evening from 5pm.

Snooker room is open from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. every evening.
