Naomh Conaill Club Notes 10th October 2012

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 14 and 16. Two prizes of €50 went to Peter Sweeney Croagh and Teresa Furey The Glen.Next weeks jackpot is €3,500.

The 11th draw in the 200 club took place at the Community Centre bingo last Tuesday. 1st prize €500 Muriel Hegarty Mullantyboyle.5 prizes of €100 went to Ronnie Kee Mullantyboyle, Paddy Doherty Stranalough, Bernie Keeney The Rock, Senan O’Donnell Mullantyboyle and Maggie Timoney The Rock.

The U-13’s are at home to Four Masters in the league this Thursday 11th October at 5.30pm.

Both the reserves and seniors recorded away victories in the 1st Round 2nd leg of the championship against St Nauls on Saturday evening. The reserves put in a great display of football to bet St Nauls 3-14 to 0-03 while the seniors won 0-12 to 0-06. Both teams have to wait for the playoffs to see who they face in the quarter final. They will play the winners of the Glenfin v Bundoran game which is due to be played on Wednesday with the quarter final for the seniors due to be played this weekend. See clubs website for details

Congratulations to the Naomh Conaill U13 Girls who won the County Final last Wenesday. After a great performance the game ended 1-10 to 1-06. The Naomh Conaill Ladies underage had a very successful year and would like to congratulate all the players for their commitment and hard work throughout the year. Congratulations to all who was involved with the team especially the management which included Christopher Molloy, Joe Byrne, Lorraine Molloy and Caroline Boyle Carr. Well done girls.
